I bought it around April 2020.įor redmi 9 with g80's case it ran much better on all the games with less stuttering but it is still there, it is much smoother on social apps cuz it doesn't freeze after a few scrolls, on games it is pretty weird, when I ran games at 720p graphics res it stutters like hell and is capped at 30 fps, but when I ramp up to 1080p it ran much better idk why, games like honkai or punishing gray both run at 60 fps on almost all out setting, but genshin ran at 20 to 30fps with frequent but still a lot less stutters than SDM 665. I have never touched the SDM 7xx series or helio p series but I have used dimensity, G, and SDM 8xx seriesįor realme 5 with snap 665's case it ran fairly smoothly on my social apps like reddit, pixiv, Facebook and other stuff but stutters sometimes when loading images or after a few down scrolling, on gaming it ran fairly good on open world Games like sky but the let down is the frequent stutters on 1080p or high res graphics probably due to the 720p screen res.

Johnny VN, Clearly you are exaggerating, I have owned a realme 5 and redmi 9 for a year now, and I use them as my current main driver cuz I like both MIUI and realme UI, I used them both for gaming too, heavily demanding games like ragnania, genshin, honkai, punishing gray, sky, the sun, and other hack n slash or open world game. of course G series of MTk are focus on "Gaming" yeah about gaming it is a little bit better but for long term daily use sometime gaming a bit i still recommend Snapdragon or MTK Dimensity (yes this time Dimensity do good work) avoid Helio G series.
of course the mean i said from it is snapdragon doesn't drain too much battery. The thing "Overheat" are different from the "heating up not too much". The thing is what i said is not heating up too much bro im not saying that it not heat.
if all thing you said is true then my friend phone use "FLAGSHIP SoC" Snapdragon 845 and 855 are weaker than G80 ? and G80 is a true king flagship budget chipest ? Lfmao. Guest_93, guest_93, yo ! WTF ? you think you gaming on a phone that doesn't heat up and slow down the performance fps drop ? PUBG:HDR/EXTREME(GFX) 35 to 45 frames 98% stability ? ODM(BR):MEDIUM/HIGH 32 to 40 frames and 96% stability ? Yo im not a stupid don't try to cheating on me man.
